Eating and Drinking in Jersey
My pals back in Fargo will find this hard to believe, but I rarely eat in restaurants anymore, and excepting a recent trip to Fargo, I can't recall the last time I set foot in a coffee bar. I still love to eat, though, and I have tighter-than-before clothes to prove it.

I do have a few favorite restaurants, and I've learned plenty about about the local way of eating -- or ways of eating. North Jersey's got an incredible diversity of people, and many have their own cuisine, with distinct foodstuffs. Just walking through the local supermarket can be a cultural experience, if you pay attention.

I've put off writing this section for a long time because it has the potential to be sprawly as all get-out. Now that I've got a start, though, I expect this section will change frequently. In the meantime, please check out these pages:
